Coronavirus (COVID-19) - A message to our patients

Recognizing the ongoing and increased uncertainty that coronavirus (COVID-19) is causing around the world, our highest priority is the health and well-being of our patients and staff. With that in mind, we wanted to update you on the actions we have taken in response to the outbreak.

To attend an upcoming scheduled follow-up appointment at our clinic

  • If you are concerned about travelling to attend your scheduled follow up appointment (Face to Face) at our clinic, we can offer you an alternative way of consultation. We can give you a phone consultation at the same appointment time/date that you have been scheduled. To proceed with this, please contact our admin office by email or phone no later than three working days prior to your scheduled follow up appointment. Should you decide on a phone consultation, please be advised that you will need to arrange to have bloods taken locally or with your GP (either prior to or soon after the phone consultation) and prior to any prescription being issued.

  • If you wish to see the doctor on your scheduled consultation at our clinic: Patients with a scheduled appointment NOT displaying symptoms should present to the clinic as planned (unless otherwise informed).

    • PLEASE DO NOT visit the clinic if you think you have been exposed to the COVID-19, have visited an affected area and have related symptoms.

    • This is an essential preventative measure to protect the health and safety of patients, staff and visitors to our clinic.

  • Please note, If you do have symptoms of coronavirus, first phone your GP or local emergency department (ED) without delay. Do not go to your GP or ED. Phone them first.

  • As the situation continues to change rapidly, we may need to proceed with some appointments to be cancelled or rescheduled. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and inform you if there are changes.

To schedule a follow-up appointment

  • If you are not yet scheduled a follow up appointment, please first contact and check with our admin office during admin office hours. Our follow up appointment is only available to book on Tuesday and Thursday between 1300 and 1700. Or you can schedule a follow-up appointment (Face to Face) online at to secure the place. Then you can contact our admin to change this to Phone call or Video call consultation.

To take time off or sick leave from your work

  • If you are concerned about attending work, we recommend you consult with your employer first about their policy. If your employer needs a medical report or certificate to assist your case, please contact your GP who can provide work-related Medical Certificates.

  • Medical Certificates. If your GP needs further information from us, your GP can contact us, and Dr Lambert will prepare the necessary report to your GP.

  • We will not issue a medical report/certificate directly to patients.

  • In general, work-related Medical Certificates from your GP will only provide a confirmation that you are unfit for work with an indication of when you will be fit to resume work.
